Just noticed some fuel stain in my carb. Drip pan, appears to be coming from the carb. Adjusting screw under the carb. I know it has a spring and O ring on it, is it ok to screw it out, replace the O ring then screw it all way back in and then back out 1 1/2 turns.

Most of the time the carb leak is the gasket and very rarely the mixture screw.

Thanks Mr. Lee, I will look at it closer and possibly order a rebuild kit.

I would just try a new $15 bowl gasket first. That takes care of 90% of the leaks that many find.
