503 Identification

I'm looking at buying a Rotax 503. This is the only number I currently have. M5441183. Can anyone tell me something about the engine? Thanks!

5441183 was produced 24-July-2001

The factory database has no further information on that engine ( not even the model number...).

Hopefully the current owner has its engine log book!

I highly doubt he has any logs. That sure would be nice. I'm trying to figure out what it is. DCDI or a DCSI. His pics do not show the top of the engine and I didn't think that Rotax made a 503 with a single CDI.
