I have now the AC pump and previously the Pierburg pump. Both without any problems.

I am now going to shift to the new Corona pump and my dealer has two versions. One simpler version with P/n 881360 and one more versatile with P/n 893115 where you can use ordinary fuel lines or the new fuel lines with another nipple if you wish.

I have read that there has been some problems with the Corona pump. Are there someone who knows anything about these pumps. Is for example the simpler pump 881360 an "old" model of the Corona pumps which could not be so good as the more complicated "newer" pump 893115.

The simpler 881360 is cheaper and a bit heavier than the newer 893115.

I can choose between them both but i would prefer the simpler and cheaper one (881360) if i only knew that it functions as good as the newer one.

Thankful if there is someone in the forum in the know about these pumps.

The basic difference is one may come with hoses and the other by itself. The pumps should be identical. One may have been on a promotion for a while and the other regular price.

The offer is from a Swedish dealer. The simpler one (and heavier) is fitted with common nipples for rubber fuel hoses, and the new one with smaller nipples for the new kind of fuel hose(the red ones).

But neither of them have any hoses attached.

For the new one you can buy common nipples for rubber hoses and replace the nipples for the new kind of hoses if you wish.

Same pumps just different fittings. Pick which ever one meets your needs. I believe when you say red ones you are referring to Teflon hoses. If you don't have these then you wouldn't need those fittings.

There is a big difference in weight between the two pumps. The simpler one weights 416 grams and the new one only 360 grams. Perhaps it is the weight of the different fittings/nipples that makes the difference. Or is it a new version of the fuel pump??

The old ones fitting/nipples weight together 30 grams. If you buy them and replace the fittings in the new pump. This means that there is a significant difference in weight between the both versions of the pumps.

You come up with a difference of about30 grams or more between the both pumps without fittings.
