How do the newest (per the just-released SI-912-032) #861189 Bing floats differ from the "not-so-long-ago-introduced" #861188 Bing floats?

Yes i would like to know the difference also, as i just purchased and installed the 861 188 floats in oct, at 300 dollars a pop , if they have come out with 189'S does that mean they are as bad as the other defective floats (numerous revisions ) starting at 861 180 after 9 revisions is this a fix or a experiment .

Where did you pay $300 for one set of floats? https://www.leadingedgeairfoils.com/floats-pair-qty-of-2.html
There is no need to just swap out floats unless yous is getting heavy.

I believe they are the same floats. Just like in the SI some parts are the same just doesn't have the gold colored anodizing and some parts got new numbers.

    Rob will probably weigh in.

all I know is there are some improvements.
Like Roger says, the older part numbers are not automatically bad because of an new part number is released.

Roger Rob guys please understand floats have been a problem we all know that. Since The pervious float is not being stocked and I know people including myself that are on their 3 or 4 set. Let's not lose site that floats have been a problem and apparently still are.

The floats were an issue for a couple of years, but hopefully that is at an end.
