912 UL vs ULS interchangeable parts

The IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalog) will reveal which parts are common to the two engines. (Many!)

However, if you are replacing Old Parts with Used Parts, you are just doing a Repair, NOT an Overhaul.
At the completion of an overhaul, you should have a Like-New, Zero-Time engine,  NOT a Slightly-Less, Old Engine.

Why would you not just upgrade to the ULS Engine?

I would think about just putting the newer engine on your old Skyranger...

Replacing the UL for a less hour ULS is an option too and maybe the better option.

Well a new engine for me is the last option because it is pricey and I still have a few things to do on this tired skyranger. However, will be an option as well. 

Since I'm new on this, I'm looking for some guidance as well on priorities. 

1- Engine ( cause mine already with 1600h and it is a 1200 tbo )

2- Frame

3- Covers

etc....

By "newer", I meant the one with 800 hours on it...
