Doing a rubber change on a Kitfox IV with a 912ULS. Just realized the original builder had routed cylinders 2 & 4 bottom coolant lines to the opposite points on the water pump. They had 2 to the top connection and 4 to the bottom. I can see why he did that, the engine mount makes the hose routing a challenge.
My question is there a chance of damage to the water pump due to the incorrect routing? Have any of you come across this before?
