I'm wondering if anyone has the dimensions for the mounting holes on the 912 engine where you would bed mount on the bottom of the engine? I'm looking for the center to center distance and bolt size on the mounting holes. I want to model some engine feet that can be 3D printed for say setting the engine on the floor or on a table. I'll probably print out of some kind of ABS or PETG-CF and maybe put Rubber Feet on them as well. These would obviously be in no way for operation of the engine. Thanks

    Hi Jared,
The information you're looking for is in the relevant engine's Installation Manual. In the current edition (Edition 3, Revision 0) of the 912 IM, you'd be looking at pages 7, 8 and 9 of chapter 10-10-00.

I found the chart but I'm unsure how to read it. It doesn't really make sense to me I know it's the l1 - l2 on the X axis but I don't see where the 2 intersect in the chart. Maybe I'm just too tired to figure it out I'll have to look again tomorrow lol.

Am I reading this right? I think I’m seeing it as 7.9” on the bottom mount L1 to L2. I don’t see where they intersect on the X axis on the chart.

    Hi Jared,

The table lists the cartesian coordinates of the mounting points relative to an origin point at the centre of the prop flange.

Mounting points L1 and R1 are 200.7 mm (7.902") behind the prop flange.

Mounting points L2 and R2 are 414.3 mm (16.311") behind the prop flange.

    The mounting points are 414.3 mm − 200.7 mm = 213.6 mm (8.409") apart.
