Hi All,
I'm currently re-wiring my Rotax 462 and I've found this wire attached to one of the ignition coils, but I'm not 100% sure what it does. I thought it might be some kind of earth, but it appears to join one of the lighting cables just before entering the regulator-rectifier. I can't see any reason for it to be there; am I missing something obvious?
