Keep it simple!!
If your vacuum line ever develops a leak in flight or anything goes wrong, the fuel gets shut OFF and down you go.
Anything that has a failure mode that Shuts OFF the Fuel is a Bad Idea.
This may have been a good idea for use on leaky vintage motorcycles but it is a BAD idea for an aircraft.
This is just an accident waiting to happen.

The engine is installed in a dune buggy so the risk of a fuel cut off isnt problematic.
