Ceramic coatings on exhaust

A ceramic product to useDoes anyone have experience with using a ceramic coating on a 582 exhaust manifold and exhaust pipe versus cloth wrapping the manifold and pipe. I am wondering if the ceramic coatings available do as much to reduce heat in the engine compartment as wrapping. Also wonder if anyone could recommend a ceramic product to use.

An exhaust wrap or ceramic coating might hide cracks. As per the Rotax 2 stroke operators manual, you have to do a daily exhaust inspection as your pre-flight. It is not recommended to wrap, paint, coat your exhaust system.
