Rotax 582 - starter slips

Hello all. I want to see if somebody else had experienced this issue about engine Rotax 582 that starter slips when I try to turn it on.

I checked the starter and of course seems to be the issue but I want to know if there is any option to overhaul it or I need to buy a new bendix for it.

PD: Is very hard in my country to find spare part for rotax engines

According to the Rotax Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), it is possible to purchase individual parts for the starter.

You can find more information in the IPC section 80-10-00, specifically on Page 164.

Do you mean the bendix gear is slipping. Had that happen to me once..only cure was a new bendix unit.
