Had a problem today while flying my number one cylinder exhaust broke off. I did not notice any cracking previously. The exhaust slips in to the muffler, and does not have a spring to hold it. It’s an older Rotax 912 UL 80 hp. I’m having trouble finding the part number for the individual pipe. Thanks for any help!

The pipe pictured is not a rotax part.  If you purchased this with the aircraft you need to talk to the OEM or builder  of the aircraft.  The picture show custom made fittings and pipes.  I have included a picture from the 912 IPC for reference on the exhaust.

    Cheers

I was afraid of that! I don’t think the original builder is still around.
    thank you
