    "Don,t discount this may be coming from somewhere else under the cowl,...."

    Agreed & understood - unlikly to be pump vent, as other side of engine & tube goes down to catch can, near cowl exit air, bottom of firewall.

    Will replace gasket & O ring just in case - already ordered.
