Lifting Eye for 912

Hi Group,

I am a new rotax 912 owner and am just about to lift the unit out of the box using a pre-made lifting bracket. Appreciate if any group member could confirm the thread size of the lifting point on the top of the engine block

Your overthinking/complicating.

Just use straps around the inlet manifolds.

M8 x 1.25. You’ll need two bolts anyway as this location is perfect for a prop dynamic balancer setup. I leave my two bolts installed, it’s a yearly maintenance task.
