Error in rotax owner article?

hello

I was reading your interesting "rotax 9 series carb troubleshooting" article located on SUPPORT/BULLETINS menu , sub menu TECHNICAL INFORMATION on this site.

On page 6 i suspect there is an error. it is written "Check the float bowl level after running the engine; the fluid level should be 1/8 inch below the edge of the bowl"

but in the image with the ruler it seems it is 3/8 (around 1 cm) below.

That is very strange because the carburetor troubleshooting document in the Technical Support Information section shows the measurement as 3/8" (see attachment).

Could you please provide the exact document where you found the 1/8" measurement? If that is stated, it would be an error.

Also, keep in mind that this is an older document and is only intended as a visual reference to determine if the fuel level is within an acceptable range. It is not an official measurement for precise adjustments, as this specification is not stated or referenced in any of the latest Rotax maintenance manuals.
