For the first ~50 hours on my 912ULS the oil pressure indication went to zero when the engine was stopped. Lately it frequently stays in the high 30's (PSI) when the engine is stopped. This happens now happens the majority of the time but occasionally the oil pressure does go to zero when the engine is stopped. My first thought was that the oil pressure sensor is faulty, but the oil pressure readings appear to be normal when the engine is operating. I am wondering if this could be caused by a problem in the oil pressure relief system? (There is no indication of fluctuating oil pressure when the engine is operating.) Could something else other than a faulty pressure sensor be causing this?
