I am ordering some replacement parts for my Rotax 912 ULS that has a fretted Crankcase. Can somebody please advise what the size of both these plain crankcase / crankshaft bearings is:
933-326 Plain Bearing 'D'
933-327 Plain Bearing 'C'
I believe I require 933-326 however I would like to confirm the actual size of these bearings and measure my crank before ordering the wrong ones!
Also does anybody know what causes the Crankcase halves to clap and cause this fretting issue? I would like to know to ensure it doesn't happen again. Is it an installation / setup issue or was it a design fault with the earlier crankcase?
