It was the fuel pressure sender (I don't have a fuel flow meter). I use an EIS engine monitor, and the fuel pressure sender that works with it is a VDO 360043. I found another one online at http://www.jegs.com/i/VDO/918/360043/10002/-1?parentProductId=887192 for about $42.

Oil and fuel pressure issues are usually the senders if they were working and all of a sudden start acting up.

    Hi Paul
I had the same issue in my skyranger it happened just after i change the fuel filter so I checked the filter and when i took it off there was the problem when i put the new filter on i must cut a bit of the inner fuel pipe as i was pushing it back on there was a small pice of rubber fuel line just flopping a around in the filter inlet pipe it worth a look i have had no more problems since.

    Roger,
Where did Paul come up with the orifice size ( 014 ) that he is using for the bypass. I have never seen that in any manuals and many of the planes i have seen dont even have one.

Unless you are having vapor lock problems, i would not even put a by pass in. Some of factory LSA's dont have em.

    Hi Carl,

It is in the installation manual on page 87, manual date of May 2009.
It is a .35mm or .014" for a re-circulation line restriction so you don't loose fuel pressure. The re-circulation line is a must with the new pumps.
