Oil temperature too low

in 912 / 914 Technical Questions 13 years ago
I can get oil temperature up to 90 degrees with the oil radiator over half blocked out with tape. Then when straight and level it drops almost down to the stop. Far too cold. Has anyone had experience with after market or pirate thermostats that they can pass on to me?
