    Roger,
Thanks for the reply. Having a 912UL and peeling back some of the fire sleeve, it appears I don't have banjo connections at the "T" where the fuel line splits off towards the carbs. It looks more like standard fuel connector plumbing. Do you know what others have done for providing an inline restrictor in a return line if not using the fittings supplied by Rotax?

    Hi Wellslake,

Without seeing your system it would be a little hard to comment, but the re-circulation line should go in line on the fuel pump pressure side out and before where both carbs tee off. With the standard Rotax fittings that would be the fuel block assembly attached to the carb cross over balance tube. It can be installed others ways to without any issues. The re-circulation line has a restrictor in it too.

You should read the Installation manual, sec.73-00-00 and all of sec.1

    Wellslake,

I have seen one homebuilt return installation. It was nothing more than a brass T fitting with an orifice pressed into the return line barb. This guy made the restrictor orifice from a piece of brass rod about 3mm long. His local jeweler/watch repair shop drilled the proper hole in the restrictor. The hole in the restrictor should be .35mm or .014in. The easiest, albeit expensive, method is to buy the banjo fittings and install them where Roger recommended. They do not have to be attached to the crossover pipe.

    Bill.
