Hi,
In order to keep the carbs as clean as possible I used carb cleaner and thereafter applied air pressure to delete any particle.
However, by doing so I MIGHT HAVE DISLODGED the rubber diaphragms resulting in rough running of the Rotax 912 UL. Mag drops are in the order of 500 rpm!!!!!!!!!!
So I have removed the tops of the carbs and installed them again. Before that I have disconnected the levers and springs of the choke and throttle. Checked the diaphragms for any ruptures. Nothing found so they must be very tough.
Removed the air filters and checked with a mirror and a headlamp the correct alignment. OK.
Result: nice running of the engine. Problem solved.
