    Hi Jae,

There are two articles from right here on the forum under "blogs" to read. I would do the rubber parts, but I'm a little torn on the fuel pump replacement. They don't just quit like you flipped a light switch and there is usually plenty of warning when it starts to go. That said too many don't look at their engine often enough to catch these hints. Rotax may also want the pump done because they already have rubber hose attached so it needs replacement, but you could just replace the hose depending on what plane you fly. Rotax may want it replaced to make sure the diaphragm is always in good condition. If it's a certified plane or you train in it you may be stuck with the replacement.
Either way I would replace the rubber parts. I have done well over 40+ rubber parts replacements and have seen a lot of things. Yes some could have gone longer, but others were a problem waiting to happen. Since we fly off the ground it's better to error on the safer smarter side than the oops I screwed up side.

It depends on what the ROK laws require. In the U.S., if the plane is an SLSA you have to do this. If it is an ELSA, you are not required to.
ROTAX says to do it but whether or not you MUST do it are determined by your country's laws.
