Hi,
The maintenance manual for 912 uls, page 23, Smooth Performance of the engine, " The Torque must be' Max 150 Nm" someone confirm the data ?
I think this is a transcription error...
150 Nm without spark plugs , it seems to me a very high value.

What do you think ?

    Looks like that has been the value since the 2003 revision to the Line Maintenance Manual. The only complaint is when the engine fails the test, then the value seems low :(

    The max number is low if you had sever crankcase fretting and things were binding up. If you never have this then you'll never see the 150 max which is a good thing. I have seen a few that after engine shut down you almost couldn't move the prop. When the engine completely cools its easy to turn again.

    This is exactly what I meant, under normal conditions, that value should never see.
    The manual says that up to 150Nm is acceptable, but I would not be so confident, even if the value is 100Nm ...
