Fresh air for air filter

Hello,
I'm the owner of a Evektor Eurostar powered by a Rotax 912 ULs.
I was wondering if there was any interest in term of advantage to move the air filter from its original position (located on the engine bulkhead, near the oil tank) and place it in a box that will receive fresh air through a NACA inlet ?
In the case of a modification, the flexible hose between the air filter and the air box will be 60cm, which is 10cm more than what is recommended by Rotax.
