Fuel burn at 75% Rotax 912 & 914

Hi, much conflicting information about the fuel burn on the 912 & 914 engines.

Please could you share your experience if you own one of these engines.

Hi Marek,

My 2003 Evektor Eurostar is fitted with an 80hp 912UL and at 90mph (4800rpm) it burns about 13 litres per hour. This is probably about 75% power.

Just a bit of useless info , if it,s a carby petrol engine a rough industry gauge is for every 100 hp used, you use 27 litres per hour to feed it . So that means at full power a 100 hp 912 uls you would use 27 per hour . So at 75 percent power should be around 20 litres per hour, in theory on paper . Often hard to gauge a true 75 percent power in cruise as you have a prop on it not a dyno .
