I bought a used 912 uls that came out of a wrecked aircraft and it is in good condition except that I cant get any spark at the plugs. The A module has the part number 05-0798 on it and I have another engine here that runs but the module number is 03-1671 can I interchange these to,if not where can I send them to get them checked?I also checked the voltage coming from the stator to the module and both of them are around 6 volts only at cranking speed, does this sound right? I was wondering if the flywheel might have some corrosion on it and might be the cause of not enough volts. Thanks

Lockwood has a proper module tester.

I had trouble with one side of my ignition. It was a loose power supply wire coming up from the stator to one of the ignition modules. It would work if I pulled up on the wire and then cut out when I layed the wire back down. It was where the wire connected right next to the module. There are a whole lot of connectors there all just a couple of inches from the box. Too many and too close. The leads should be different lengths from the box if you ask me.

I found the problem it was the faulty start sequence on the modules cooled one of them off and it fired right up.After it started I did a mag check and found that the upper 2 4 cylinders on the b box were missing so began the hunt again well, it seems I was chasing somebody else's problem in the end, someone had it apart preveously and on the B 2-4 magnetic eye they had put it on the wrong side of the offset spacers so it wasn't getting read and of course no trip signal. I must say I will have to say my hat's off to Kevin at CPS for the help.
