Hi there, I am a first-time Rotax owner. I have a 914ULS on an AutoGyro MTO Sport (200 engine hours). Operating at 800' elevation when I open full throttle, I feel the turbo kick in, however the maximum rpm I achieve is 5400-5450 rpm. It has a constant pitch HTC prop. Is this something that needs investigating? The max rpm is 5800, but I get nowhere near that.
Could one of you technical giants advise me on any actions I should take, what I should check and how I should test it.
On another matter, my boost gauge flicks and jumps all over the place. Has anyone experienced this and what should I be checking.
