Can someone tell me the torque for the engine mounting nuts on a 914 or where that info can be found?

If you are talking about the 4 ring mount bolts that is found in the Parts manual in section 71-20-00 pg.3,,,30 ft/lbs.

The Parts manual has many torque values and you should have all the manuals downloaded.

Hey, thanks a lot! I was thinking that the specs would be in the installation manual but I'll definitely download the parts manual now.

Putting a 914 back on a Searey. The learning curve is steep.

    Hi Roger,

Just looking in the parts manual and I see what you're talking about but I was looking to find out the torque setting for the bolts that hold the "engine suspension frame" to the frame mounted on the airplane. There's 4 long bolts with rubber shock absorbers/washers and they each have a lock nut, not a hex. These run parallel to the crankshaft.

    Hi Stuart,

I have always used 200 in/lbs for the 4 rubber mount bolts.
