The last flight I watched carefully both the oil pressure and temperature readings at the same time during take-off. The oil pressure pegged at high power and the temperature stayed in its normal low position, As I reduced my engine to cruise power the oil pressure dropped quickly and the oil temperature rose just as quickly. Sort of like an electrical connection was made for both the pressure and temperature indicating units at the same time!
I should mention that my engine has always been very slow to warm to the extent that this rapid rise in oil temperature might always have always been going on and I did not recognize it.
Any ideas what might be going on or suggestions sure would be appreciated since I am about at wits' end.
