912 Oil pump assembly question

in 912 / 914 Technical Questions 7 years ago
I'm assembling oil pump for 912 but on rotating elements I can see two markings (dot's). They should face up?

    Yes, They should be visible before you install the pump cover.

    It makes no difference what the relation to each other they are.
    They will separate and re-align every 5 revolutions of the pump.
