What is a good way to mount the Rotax overflow bottle? (It would have been nice if they had provided some mounting ears.)

They do have a bracket that goes around the bottle and can attach to the fire wall. Easy to install.

Thanks Roger. How might I find that bracket? 75-20-00 page 10 of the Illustrated Parts Catalog shows the bottle but it does not show any bracket. Document search for "bracket" also failed to show such a part.

Edited to add: I also googled "mounting bracket for rotax overflow bottle" and didn't find a source. I did find a picture and agree it looks like a nice, easy way to mount it. I just need to find one.

Got the following response from CPS:

"We do not have a mounting bracket for this overflow bottle. The mounting is specific to the aircraft and is not a part provided by Rotax."

So I guess I will make one, unless someone else has a source.

Sorry Ken for the misinformation. I was sure they had something.

No problem Roger. They should have something! (Like simple mounting ears that could be cut off if not used.) I eventually found some "band clamps" at Grainger that I think I can adapt to the task.

I never thought the FWF would be so challenging, but with all of the hoses, cables, fittings etc. it is turning out to be very time consuming. But then again, everything seems to take me three times as long as I expect. Good thing I enjoy it!
