Orifice (0.35 mm = 0.014 in.). Just buy a Mikuni Idel jet for about $7
Fuel system setup:
Installation manual section 73-00-00 page 4 February 01/2015. Look at the diagram.
The Facet pump is fine. Fuel lines up to the mechanical pump should be a minimum of 5/16". This is what I see in the huge majority of the planes. Occasionally 1/4" and that's a bad idea.
The other answer to your question about if the mechanical pump failure is in a high wing yes the engine will continue to run, but not at max throttle. Somewhere around 4800-5000 rpm. That was a test I ran on a Flight Design CTSW, but that was without an electric pump in line and the pump off the engine sitting off to the side with the hoises still attached so the pump was technically dead, but fuel still flows through the pump. It failsopen. Then I pulled the fuel lines off the pump and joined them together with just a piece of tubing. I could get full throttle without any stumble just from head pressure. Will everyone's results be like this. I don't know.
