Rotax 912ULS2 (Version 2) means the propeller shaft in the gearbox is not set up for hydraulic governor for constant speed (Large bore hole through center)
Rotax 912ULS3 (Version 3) means the propeller shaft has a small bore on end allowing oil from the governor to reach the constant speed propeller.
Rotax 912ULS4 (Version 4) (No longer) Means the propeller shaft is hollow (Version 3) but has a plug installed preventing oil from reaching the constant speed propeller.
Rotax 912ULS3 (Version 3) means the propeller shaft has a small bore on end allowing oil from the governor to reach the constant speed propeller.
Rotax 912ULS4 (Version 4) (No longer) Means the propeller shaft is hollow (Version 3) but has a plug installed preventing oil from reaching the constant speed propeller.
