I have spent 2 hours going thru the Heavy Maintenance Manual for my 912 uls trying to find torque specs for two items, with no luck, please point me to the right places for:

1- Intake manifold, the 4 bolts that hold it to the cylinder head. Also is there any Loctite required?

2- The upper coolant hose flange bolts that bolt the flange to the cylinder head. Also is there any Loctite required?

Thanks for the help.

    Thanks Roger,
I'm curious where you found this-for my future reference? Also I assume there was no spec for Loctite on these bolts?

(The pages below are from latest HMM) If not otherwise specified, M6 bolts are always torqued to 90 in/lbs:

"1- Intake manifold, the 4 bolts that hold it to the cylinder head. Also is there any Loctite required?"

If loctite is required, it should be indicated in the associated drawing. If you don't see the indication, it is not required...

"2- The upper coolant hose flange bolts that bolt the flange to the cylinder head. Also is there any Loctite required?"

    (see above)

    I am a Rotax novice.

These manuals are hard as they have little references in them.  I guess I am spoiled.

I am not having luck with the carb nuts 37 and 49 (912ULS) and BANJO BOLT M8x1x27.

    OK, there are M numbers.

Where is the page that lists all the M numbers?

    OK, I found #s 37 and 49.

    In parts they are M8.

    In list M8 is 24Nm (17.7 ft.lb)

That seems like a lot for a partly threaded rod and a small nut.

    What do I know right?
