I work in a flight school in Colombia, and we have four Tecnam p200jf with the following engines:

the engines are certified.
and two more no certificate, for P2002 and P98

I have inquiry, it's possible to take the maintenance time for the engines by the difference between take off and landing (flight hours), not to start counting the hours for maintenance when the engine is on and off (service hours).

we have more than 8.000 flight hours, and in all this time we haven't presented any problems or failure of the engines.
