Low fuel pressure

    Sir, I would like to know which rubberized items must be replaced at every 5 years.
    What about protection tubes, heat resistant hoses, and spiral hoses? These should be changed or not at 5-year hoses replacement?


    All Rubber Items.
    Fire sleeving is usually Silicon but if you are already making it look pretty, Why Not!

    A short list...
    All Fuel, OIl and Coolant Hoses.
    Any V- Belts.
    All rubber parts in the fuel pump And Carburetors.
    The Carb Rubber Mounting Sockets.

    In Summary, If it is rubber, it is to be replaced.
    If in doubt, replace it anyway.

    What is the difference between hoses part no 860982 and 860985 for 914 F engines


    The Short answer is that the ...982 part was replaced by the ...985 part and the 982 part is no longer stocked and the 985 part is readily available Off-the-Shelf.

    Probably a change in the supplier mandated the number change for traceability purposes.
