The "original factory configuration data" is available online here - but unfortunately that page currently doesn't include the (very important!) manufacturing date. We have requested the Austrian web team to add it to that public lookup page...

Aside from posting your engine serial lookup request here on the forum, you may also contact your local ROTAX distributor directly, and ask them to look it up for you.

You can use the "Dealer Locator" page to find your regional distributor ( you can filter by distributors using the 'filter box' at the bottom right of that page...)

Engines which were produced before ROTAX adopted an electronic registration database do not show any info in the online query page - because there is no information available.

The factory database shows that 4404998 is a ROTAX 912 UL produced 03-May-2002, but that is all the information we have on file for it.
