If it is a compression type fitting I usually use about a 1/4 turn with a wrench after it's hand tightened. What type connector do you have?

Like Garrett, I just give it a good tight fit.
If you need to put a hard number on it, This should put you in the ball park.

Thank you for reply. I attach a photo of the carburetor. As in the other answers, is tightening torque 90 pounds OK?

Yes, 90 in∙lbs. Not 90 lbs!
It will not be a lot of torque.
