Hi Jeffrey
Glad you found a video. The requirement to check only applies to engines that have a dog gear with a 30 degree free-play. There were a very limited number of 15 degree versions 20 plus years ago so don't worry about them. Free-play dogs are only used on the certified engines and UL series that have been sold with the option of them. None of the injected engines have free-play so it only applies to carb version engines. The overload clutch was an option so you may have to lock the crank to check if it is fitted with a clutch inside.
I would suggest taking a Rotax iRMT Service program, this is part of the training for completion of the 100 hour annual.
Cheers
