914 Turbo Boost issue

I have a Tecnam P008T, that went in for its 200 service 2 months ago. Since getting the aircraft back, I have noticed what may be a problem. During take off, when I go past to 100% mark and into boost mode, its takes a bit of time before the boost actually kicks in. This morning, I had to actually abort my take off, as there was not much runway left once I felt the boost kick in. I am in Florida and its very hot at the moment, so not sure if that is a factor. 

Any ideas?
