I'm in the middle of doing my Annual/100hr on my 912 ULS, fully expecting to do the friction torque check as I learned at the Rotax class and as I did last year with the help of someone else. The checklist used last year was from the Ed 3 Rev 2 MML, dated 2/1/15, and included the check as part of the 100hr. Now I'm using the current Ed 4 Rev 0 dated 1/1/20 and it sure looks like this check isn't done until 600 or 1000 hours, in section 11 on page 14 of 05-20-00. I don't see any discussion in the forum of this change and the video for the check, made in 2009, references doing this at 100hr inspections.
Am I missing something? Is the requirement to do this every 100 hours truly gone?
Thanks
