Findings in the first 25h inspection 912
Hi there, I am new to the forum and also new to Rotax. I purchased a brand new SLSA last month and today my A&P did the first 25h inspection. In the inspection we found that the Oil Drain/Sump bolt (at the bottom of the oil tank) was damaged (the threads were chewed up). He said we need a replacement as it is not in airworthy. Does anyone know how to proceed now since the engine is still under warranty? Who should I contact and what’s the process for a warranty claim? Also, everywhere I looked online for that part says “backorder”… any help/guidance is really appreciated
