I just weigth the pairs of float  of my 912ULS, just after open the carburator bowl.

One pair weight 7.2 grams and the other pair 6,7 grams.

The floats are marked with 3 dots and was bought 2 years ago.

Is there any reason to worry and change it?

Floats, fresh out of the box, weigh ~6g per pair.

7.2 is Over the 7.0g Limit and the reason to change them.

Together your four floats weigh less than 14g, so you might be able to mix and match them to get each pair just at 7g, for now.

You will be needing to get some new floats shortly, though.

Did you let them dry a while before weighing them? I believe that's the correct procedure.

I just dry them off with a rag and weigh them. Seems to be the same if I dry them and let them sit a minute. No false weights so far.

You can't mix match floats as they come in a pair, so don't do that! ?...The latest/greatest no-issue floats have an R stamped on the side of them...THOSE are the ones you want as the other ones  (B, 2 DOT, 3 DOT, etc) were still no good. So, when you get new ones make sure they have the R stamped into them!

The best way to weigh the floats is to have them sitting in fuel for 12 hours and then as soon as you take them out, just blow on them to remove the excess fuel on the outside. By blowing lightly on them, the fuel will evaporate and then you can weigh them as a pair... AS a pair, they cannot exceed 7.0 Grams..IF in doubt throw them out!
