Fuel line end fitting

I have a 912 ULS that came of rental plane which was installed in error. I am trying to find out what type of flare fitting will fit the main supply hose to the fuel pump. A male 37 degree, -6 fitting only engages about 1/2 thread and it binds. The 37 degree fitting I have is a standard 9/16-18 thread so I expect that the female fitting at the end of the hose is metric but I can't find any informaiom about it.

I am trying to find an adater to go from this female flare fitting to a 1/4 mnpt fitting. Any ideas??
