I have not seen a "hydraulic" system...but there are many electric systems that work very well. Why only Hydraulic ?

Thanks for your response. By hydraulic I meant the ULS3 gearbox. I don't know if there are any aftermarket kits, though. I test flew an electric prop but it was just too slow for what I'd like to do with it. Can you recommend one?

I have recently installed a Duc Flash on my Bristell. It is electrically controlled but an hydraulic pump changes the pitch of the blades. It is very good in that my plane is faster and better in climb than the Fiti electric it replaced. Mark

Hello Mark, I was actually looking into them as well, I really like their approach of using hydraulics. Is the governor working with a "normal" gearbox? I couldn't figure out on their homepage...

Hi Tino, mine is just a standard ULS2 built in late 2012. It was a very simple installation to change over from the Fiti using the same bolt holes in the crankcase and gearbox. As I said previously I'm very impressed with it performance wise. Also it has leading edge protection which the Fiti didn't. It's very important if you are going to fly in the harsh conditions of the Australian Outback as I do. Mark
