Lead in oil test

Fuel 100LL is also dangerous for Rotax if you don't use Declain TCP.i lost one engine pressure because of 100LL.

How you have checked lead in oil?

I have used no Avgas for 10 years, only used Mobil 95, Mobil have confirmed there is no lead in their fuel.

The oil was analysed by proffessionals

Main bearings may contain lead.

44 ppm is very low. Many may see from 1000 - 2200 ppm in some oil test.

If you used a fair amount of100LL ten years ago the lead may have precipitated out of the fuel into the oil and then coated the inside of the gearbox. It still may be in there and is slowly releasing into the oil in small amounts ten years later. No worries, but when you do a gearbox service at about 1000 hours there may be lead deposits to clean out.
