The video is exactly the way I teach this procedure. It has never failed me or damaged an elbow. I do use 648 too, but more than he put on it.

Thanks again everybody, I'll also watch the video. A new gasket, for the housing, and a new elbow are on the way. Next I'll have to get the remains of the old thread out. ?
