Hi, after a long trip over 25 hr flight time in mountains, high-temperature regions I did today an oil change and found some oil in MAP line, before the sensor. How is it possible? The described tube comes from carb balancing pipe directly to the sensor. Oil consumption was pretty low, during the trip there was no need to add (after 25 hr it was perhaps half of the measuring range less).

Regards

Erki

Do you have K&N oil filters? If you do were they over oiled? Are you sure it's oil and not just dirty fuel vapors that had accumulated and feels slimy?

K and N air filters are not yet oiled, I always forgot to do that (last was one year ago) It can be oily fuel, during the trip there was many locations, were we had no real control about the fuel quality. And I used first time 5-7 fuel tanks 100 LL AVGAS normaly only mogas. (But always fuel from airport)
