I'm not advocating people fly high, just that some have without incident.
I've had two friends fly their 912ULS between 18K - 20K with no issues other than poor performance up there and a significant loss of power. . They were taking pictures and videoing. I have flown my Flight Design CTSW (912ULS) up to 14K without incident. When trying to get to these altitudes prop pitch needs adjustment.
Oil volume is a bit more important than pressure alone.
