Any one have a solution to high tachometer readings on a newly installed Dynon Skyview? When I run the engine to takeoff power I get good rpm readings, compared to my Rotax tachometer, until I get to about 4800 rpm then the Skyview tac reads very high and fluctuating rpm. Readings are 7,000 to 8,000+ rpm. Dynon had me add a 60k resister which helped dampen the fluctuations, they are slower, but I still get the high readings at takeoff power. My Rotax tach reads 5700 rpm and steady. I connected to the "high voltage" pin on the EMS as per instructions from Dynon. I believe I am connected to the correct pin on the TCU. I have a toggle switch setup to read the Rotax tach or the ems tack. I am running an Airmaster constant speed propeller and electronic control unit.
